Zetapark The Loft

I bought a service apartment in 2012 using EPF as down payment and the rests of 70% is under loan. Unit price is about RM650K. It is a leasehold property with size of 1271sqf – about RM520 per sqf. The unit is partial furnish – lighting, wardrobe, fridge, hob, stove and washing machine. It is on top of Festival City Mall. The reason I bought this unit mainly because of its location and very convenience to access to public transportation.

After 2.5 years of waiting, I finally received a letter from developer, stated that my unit is ready for inspection & keys collection.

Last weekend decided to go to do the inspection of the unit. I went there at 11+am and got hard time to find the management office as there is no signboard leads to their office. Had to call them up to get the direction – the office is located at the 3rd floor, parking area.

How Much Moving Cost Is Required For New House

When you buy a new house, have you ever wonder how much is required to furnish the house before you can really move in and stay in the house? I just do a rough estimation cost for a double storey Semi detached house. You need at least minimum of RM$100k to spend for the house even without the renovation work. See below:

Estimate Cost

This is a lot more than I thought! Above example haven’t included the alarm system and auto gate. If you can save RM$2k a month, you still need 5 years to get this amount.
